Components Suite™ News - ALERT: Windows Vista Security Issue With Install Package

Changes in how Windows Vista enforces security for installers (when compared to XP) are making it hard for some users to install DataConstructor and other products.

Paulo Reichert appears to have run in to this problem, before, and created a workaround.

For details, please read his blog entry (a link is provided below). In essence, you need to make a batch file with one line in it:

msiexec /i "path-to-package.msi"

...then right-click on that batch file and click "Run as Administrator."
